THE UK AquaShop by Ensign - Terms & Conditions

  1. Guarantee of Quality: All products sold are backed by a one year guarantee.

  2. Payment Options: We accept all major credit cards including CONNECT, VISA, MASTERCARD SWITCH and all their derivates.

  3. Delivery Methods & Times: The majority of orders are dispatched 1st class post, Ensign van or special express carrier. Typically, orders are dispatched the next working day after your order is received.

  4. Delivery Charges: Standard delivery charges and VAT are included in the prices shown. Express deliver charge is charged extra at the rate shown in the Carriage & Handling page.

  5. Refunds: Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment as used to place the order.

  6. Retention of Title: This remains with us until the goods are paid for in full.

  7. Application of Value Added Tax (VAT): VAT at the prevailing rate is included in the prices shown. Our registration number is GB491410265.

  8. Order Confirmation: An order confirmation is sent in real time to the email address supplied. Please retain this until goods have been received

  9. Stock Levels: As far as reasonably possible, all products featured on this site are in stock and available at the time of ordering.

  10. Trading Name: The UK AquaShop by Ensign and Ensign Water Softeners are trading styles of Ensign (UK) Ltd.

  11. Data Protection: Information you provide us remains confidential. We do not use your personal information provided for unsolicited marketing purposes, nor do we sell or give your personal information to third parties. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

  12. Unforeseen Circumstances: While every effort will be made to meet shoppers demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike, Flood or other causes beyond our control.

  13. Complaints: If you have a compliant, please contact us immediately by fax, phone or email. See Contact page. All complaints will be acknowledged and dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially. These terms and conditions do not affect your consumer's statutory rights.

  14. Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you hereby agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT - We pride ourselves on our high levels of customer support. We aim to provide general technical support and advice at no additional cost to you. If you do have a technical problem regarding an item you have purchased from us please use the contact form on the contact page. we aim to reply to reply to general questions within 48hrs.

RETURNS POLICY - By purchasing from The UK AquaShop by Ensign you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Right to change your mind: The United Kingdom is governed by the Distance Selling Regulations which states that you have the right to cancel an order with 7 working days of delivery. The only exception to this rule is where the product has bee opened and used.

What to if you change your mind about something you have purchased from us:

  1. Please email us immediately using the contact page informing us of your intention.

  2. Send the product back explaining the reason for return together with your name and address. Return the product to our address shown on the About Us page

  3. Items must be returned within 10 days of receipt by you. You will be required to pay postage and it is advised that you send the item by recorded-delivery.

  4. Please specify if you wish to a) Take a full credit against another item that is sold on our website or b) Choose to have a refund, in which case a fee of 5% or £5, whichever is the higher will be applied to cover the cost of processing and dispatching your order. Please return the product in a condition that will allow them to be resold as new. Failure to return items in such a condition for whatever reason will be processed at the discretion of Ensign (UK) Ltd.

Returning faulty items - All of our products carry a 12 month guarantee. On the rare occasions you may need to return a product that proves to be faulty within a 12 month period from date of order please ensure you follow these steps:

  1. Please email us immediately using the contact page informing us of your intention.

  2. Send the product back explaining the reason for return, if you want the item repaired or a refund issued, your name and address. Send the product to our address shown on the About Us page

  3. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us.

  4. Note a restocking fee of up to 25% is charged on items, which are returned to us but prove to have no fault. We would advise you of this and you can opt for the goods to be returned to you.

These terms and conditions do not affect you statutory rights.
